Meet Nicole Steinthal, Founder of NS Lifestyles

Meet this week’s Tastemaker, Nicole Steinthal, the founder of NS Lifestyles: a lifestyle blog where you’ll find family recipes, new fashion finds, and interior design tips. Nicole’s mission is to network with people and support small businesses. You’ll often find her attending all kinds of events, parties, and pop-up's on the east coast between the Hamptons, NYC, and Palm Beach. Hi I'm Nicole. I'm a lifestyle digital creator who loves sharing my favorite finds with my readers. I'm all about supporting small businesses and introducing and networking with people, places, and things!

You've had quite the impressive career trajectory! You worked at Tiffany & C.o in their marketing department for 8 years while you were also studying interior design at Parsons. From there, you launched your very own design & lifestyle brand NS Lifestyles! What has been the most rewarding part of your career journey?

Actually the most rewarding part of my career thus far has been the example I have set for my three children. They have seen first hand that you can literally build a successful business out of pretty much nothing but dedication and drive. I hope that I am an inspiration for them.

You’re often traveling on the east coast between the Hamptons, NYC and Palm Beach to attend parties, pop-ups, and everything in between! What has been your favorite event this summer?

My favorite event of the summer is my dear friends’ Andy and Evan summer party every July in Bedford. They are amazing at bringing the most interesting people together and the most fabulous and gracious hosts EVER. 

How would you describe your personal style?

I like to mix all types of fashion. I love the high/low split, or a little something vintage with a flash of trend! But most of the time you can find me in a great dress, or flare crop pants a fur accessory and of course, a wonderful pair of pointed flats or kitten heels. 

Who are some of your biggest influences when it comes to style?

There are so many. But I am obsessed with the style of Aerin Lauder, LSD, & Blair Eadie

What trends/ styles are you most looking forward to rocking in the fall?

I really looking forward to the peplum top with leather pants, Black and white lace and a pop of jewel tones.

On your blog NS Lifestyles, what stories do you enjoy writing about the most?

I love featuring fashionable friends. I have a feature on Fridays called Fashionable Friend Friday and I love choosing and interviewing the person and getting to know a different side of them.

What draws you to the Mestiza brand?

Mestiza designs are so beautiful, luxurious and feminine. I am in love with all of the dress shapes, and prints and detail such as all the bows, buttons and embroidery.

How does wearing your Mestiza piece make you feel?
I definitely feel special and every time I wear a Mestiza piece I am stopped constantly with compliments or questions on where to get what I am wearing!!
