HOW WEDDINGS INSPIRED THE START OF MESTIZA
When college friends, Louisa and Alessandra started receiving multitudes of wedding invites, the duo commiserated over the fact that it felt nearly impossible to find the perfect dress: a beautiful, high quality design, priced under $1,000 that didn't run the risk of someone else showing up the event in the same piece. That's when the duo boldly quit their day jobs to launch Mestiza New York and fill that void in the women's occasion-wear industry.
