Dance, dance, dance in this dress

This dress was absolutely the most fun. Wore it to an afternoon, black tie optional wedding and could not walk across the room without receiving a compliment. It fit true to size and was easy to wear while looking like a million bucks. I also danced so hard and so long that I never got an instagram worthy photo of it -- truly the sign of a good time and a great dress.

Seriously magic

Just wore this dress as a guest of a wedding and it was SO fabulous. It's sort of hard to tell from the photo, but there's some serious sorcery involved in the construction of this dress that makes my waist look far smaller than it is, making my small-busted self look and feel curvier than ever. The back is low without being scandalous. The skirt is like a party when you walk - the wrap feature and the ruffle bounce and make even walking across the room feel like dancing.

Fit-wise, I took my usual 8. It's good except for the hook, but wasn't pulling anywhere, so I still think it's the right size. I'm 5'8 and the dress wasn't quite as long as it looks on the model, but that's good for me. As someone with a tendency to overdress, that makes it feel a tiny bit more casual despite the material being on the formal side. It would feel at home at both black tie optional and cocktail events.

Lastly, the color is perfection. A great year-round color - dark enough for fall, but bright and cheery enough for spring/summer. I anticipate getting a ton more wears out of it (and no shame wearing it multiple times because of the aforementioned illusions).

My only caveat is that it is pretty thin and not lined, so you'll need some Spanx. I didn't realize that until I got to the wedding so I found out that even a seamless thong would show so I had to... go without. Just so you can prepare! It also wrinkles pretty easily when in a bag. I packed a travel steamer and everything fell right out.
