"It Has Pockets!"

A SUNDAY PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT FROM MESTIZA CO-FOUNDER, LOUISA RECHTER TAKACS

Let’s talk pockets...as the history may surprise you.

Women have always had inconvenient access to pockets.  Back in the day, pockets were located in undergarments and couldn’t even be accessed in public. They were also a political symbol for freedom and independence..which women were denied.

Lorena Gown

Nowadays, you’ve probably experienced trying on a beautiful design only to discover there are fake pockets or measly little ones that will barely fit a lipstick.
We’ve heard you loud and clear. We strived to incorporate functional pockets in an assortment of silhouettes to suit your lifestyle, from morning, noon and night.

On a date, or an evening out, we want you to be able to have the freedom to ditch the bag and stash only your essentials.

Giselle Midi

When posing for a photo, we want you to avoid that awkward delay of wondering where to put your arms! Slide your hands into our pockets for a chic, uncontrived pose.

Pockets just make everything better.

Xx,
