Who inspires your sense of style?

I draw my sense of style from all over the place. I’ve always drooled over Blake Lively’s chic, glamorous style and Kate Middleton’s elegant and polished looks. However, being a mother of three, I’ve had to re-work my daily wardrobe to fit my lifestyle of carrying kids on my hip, pulling at my shirts, and spilling frozen yogurt on my outfits. Recently, I’ve started following blogger Shalice Noel who is a mom of 4, and love her effortless, sharp style.  She always looks polished, put together, and comfortable!

What, in your opinion, is a huge fashion faux pas?

I have two. First are ill fitting jeans or trousers. Pants that fall awkwardly on the ankle, or that are loose and ill fitting on the hip (either too tight or too loose) really bother me.  I also can’t stand visible panty lines.

What’s your favorite Mestiza item?

I have so many favorites which include the Clara Ruffle Off the Shoulder  in Dandelion and the Natalia Ruffle Midi in red. However, my absolute favorite is the Palma Tassel Top.  I wore it to a party last month and seriously felt like the shirt was made just for me. The color, the style, and the fit was impeccable!
