Meet Ali and Gipson, Founders of The Naples Diary 

Hi, Ali and Gipson here! We’re two best friends that live in sunny Naples, Florida. We love sharing our shopping, traveling and dining adventures with y’all! 

While we are each exploring different parts of our lives (Ali is growing her family and Gipson is recently married), this account brings us together and allows us to share those perspectives on The Naples Diary. Ali is able to share her life as mother while Gipson shares her explorations and travel. Together we unite through our love for fashion, beauty, and food!

We were out celebrating a friend’s birthday and we were chatting about social media over drinks! Before the night was over the idea of the account was born! Coming up with our name took a few more weeks of brainstorming, but we wanted to incorporate Naples and our love for our town. Our favorite aspect of working together is definitely how much fun we have. We love sharing our travels, likes and dislikes, and what great things are happening in Naples! 

For Ali, that is without a doubt Jackie O. Her sense of style set trends that are still relevant today. She is the epitome of elegance and timelessness. For Gipson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Her style is effortless and chic. She pairs high-quality basics with on-trend pieces and makes everything look so polished.

For Ali, comfort! When you’re 8 months pregnant it is a tough balance of looking cute and being comfortable. Thankfully her stunning sequin Margot mini dress is both of those things! For Gipson, elevating her looks! Gipson is always looking for a way to take her outfit to the next level and make it pop. Maybe it’s adding jewelry or a little color to a basic look, especially her work wardrobe. 

We believe it’s important to empower yourself and other women so we all gain a sense of self worth. So we are all aware that we have the right to make our own choices, we have the right to control our lives, and we have the right to access all opportunities and resources. We love the concept of empowering women to live life to their fullest potential and the idea that we hold the responsibility of our own happiness and future.

The beauty of each piece! Mestiza makes us feel feminine, elegant and special. These dresses are timeless and well-made. The story behind how Mestiza was brought to life is amazing and how they are empowering women through their brand is incredible. In today’s society, it is so important for women to feel empowered and beautiful and Mestiza is doing just that! 

We love to kick it up a notch and wear our heels with our Mestiza dresses! Adding a statement necklace or earrings is one of our favorite things to do to make an outfit pop.
