Hi There! My name is Beth Chappo. Iโm a wife, mother of 3, transplant Hoosier,ย and creator of Bethchappo.com, a fashion and lifestyle blog established in 2012.ย

My Aunt Morey believed in expressing herself through her fashion choices. She was the queen of the popped collar, Reebok sneaks with a pant suit, and loved eclectic pieces that remained timeless. She knows Iโd raid her closet in a skinny minute. Her fashion fearlessness and unique meets quirky style have undoubtedly inspired my choices.
Goodness What hasnโt changed? The landscape has completely evolved since I started blogging 11+ย years ago. Gone are the days where you wake up and check out your favorite bloggerโs website and leave feedback in their comment section -ย now itโs theirย Instagram or TikTok. Heck even the title โbloggerโ has changed. For the record, Iโm not a fan of the word influencer and still refer to myself as a bloggerโฆold habits die hard I suppose. I think what I've come to realize is change is inevitable, you have to be willing to evolve and adapt where it suits your brand, things ebb and flow and donโt feel pressured to hop on every new app/trend if it doesnโt feel organic. This may explain why I have yet to fully adopt TikTokโฆi know i knowโฆmy daughters canโt believe it. PS: Canva is one of my favorite tools for graphics.

Itโs funny because I LOVE color and bold prints and yet the style Iโm most drawn to is neutral and minimal. I find myself following a ton of French style accountsย - they just have this ease about their styleโฆitโs so beautiful and timeless. My personality requires more color but I have such an appreciation for classic, modern, and neutral. Princess Dianaโs style in the 80โs and 90โs will forever be a favorite of mine. The popped collars, the pleats, the sneakers, the effortlessness...itโs perfection. I also love the risks Zendaya takes on the red carpetโฆso modern and unique and I donโt think Iโve ever seen her have a โmissโ. And good grief Magot Robbie is absolute perfection with this Barbie PR Tour - the girlieness, the color, the glam, the nostalgia. I have been glued to her stylistsโ pages. I love Jennifer Connelyโs style on the red carpet...itโs always very modern, unique, and polishedโฆI think as Iโve aged my style has evolved more with what is most flattering on my figureโฆIโd say thatโs a good tip, right?
Oh this is easy, the Pomodoro Caftan a la Mrs. Roper from Threeโs Company (Iโm fully aware Iโm totally dating myself), a show I watched religiously with my older brother Jarrod after school. Man was she an iconโฆ.add her to my style icon list! Big bold jewelry, more is more, vibrant colors, you name it!
My Roxanne Assoulin bracelets. I attended an event last month and forgot to put them on and felt naked the entire night. Oh and Neubrow brow serumโฆ.beauty accessory but a necessary one nonetheless.
Unique, standout, feminine, beautifully tailored pieces that are infused with personality!ย When I wore my Mestiza dress I felt a sense of confidence and easeโฆa winning combo in my book!
