I'm @laurenisafox and I own @shopellifox. I also practice law, real estate, and have my hand in a few different businesses. Needless to say, I am BUSY!

When my daughter was a baby, I couldn't find any websites with exactly what I wanted- I could find some things here or there from different places, but no one had a robust selection and the user experience wasn't streamlined. I also couldn't find anywhere to purchase the items I wanted and have them personalized in the same place. Thus, @shopellifox was born!
My favorite part of @shopellifox is the community we have built. We get to know our customers from the time they are doing a stork box with us (where the doctor send us the gender of the baby so they can remain "team green" all the way but they take a box of goodies to the hospital that we have curated specifically for them!) to their first birthday and beyond. The most challenging part in this "season" of business (2021) is the labor shortage.

Reality inspires me right now. I don't want to see perfection. I want to see messy. Relatable. Real. I want to see others who are struggling and read about how they have overcome it. I want to see women succeeding. And I want to see them overcoming adversity. But I don't want to see life looking so...easy. Because I don't know anyone having an "easy" time right now.
Investing in myself is hard in this season. I'm not doing a very good job of it. I wish I had something more inspiring to say about this.
Owning your own business isn't for the faint of heart. You have to be prepared to pivot, switch gears, and ride the roller coaster.
Be resilient.
A rising tide lifts all ships. Together, we rise. There's enough room for everyone.
The Valentina made me feel like a princess. It's how I imagine my daughter feels in a princess costume. It felt...magical. I never want to take it off. The fabric is sublime and the fit is nothing short of what I would imagine from couture.
