Meet Nicola! Nicola is a Texas-based jewelry designer passionate about design and the arts-- all of which are rooted in her entrepreneurial spirit. This Tastemaker Tuesday features Nicola in our lovely Puff Puff gown and our exclusive interview! 

Jewelry has always been a love of mine. Mainly because I have always loved to dress up. From playing dress up to getting dressed up for an event. I always felt like jewelry was magical in a way, either from where it came from or how it made me feel, it was always icing on top of a cake. 

A lot of inspiration comes from nature, especially florals. 

I want them to feel themselves but also a special version of themselves. I want them to feel as beautiful as they are just with a little extra sparkle. 

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own business? 

Have the confidence to do something that is true to you. Trust your intuition. 

What has been your proudest moment as a business owner? 

When my eldest daughter first said earring! I think this is my proudest moment because everything came full circle. I work as a creative outlet but I also do it to provide for my family. 

What influences your personal style? 

Florals also influences my style as well as my designs. I love to wear florals and soft prints daily. 

Your daughters are always dressed so lovely! Can you tell if they share your love of fashion yet?

Yes! Sophia loves to dress up. If I ever have anything on thats fluffy she calls it a “tutu” She loves to wear and talk about lipstick and loves sparkles. 

Emilia is only 9 months but she loves to reach for and grab my earrings!
