Prioritize the Bust: For strapless, halter, or fitted bodices, the Bust and Waist measurements are critical. If the customer's bust is between sizes, they should generally size up.
Prioritize the Waist: For A-Line or Fit-and-Flare styles, the Waist measurement is the most critical. The hip measurement matters less as the fabric flares out below the waist.
Prioritize the Hips: For Shift, Sheath, or straight-cut dresses, the Hip measurement must have enough room. If the customer's hips are significantly larger than their bust/waist, they should size to fit their hips and have the top tailored down if needed.
