It used to be everyone needs a little black dress (I have quite a few), but I look better in color and I like unique statement pieces. The silhouette is very flattering, and the size fit me perfectly (I am 52, size 10 with hourglass figure, and 5’8”). I’d been eyeing this for a while and so glad I purchased.
I bought this dress for my son’s wedding, which will be taking place in northern Vermont next mid October. The fabric is absolutely breathtaking a little on the thick side, but still light which will be perfect for a cool, fall day in Vermont.
The color is the perfect gold with a touch of black tone in it almost like a tweed. I’m excited to wear it. I cannot wait to dance the night away for reference. I am 5’4”,115pounds and I’m busty and the top part of the dress plus the straps, which make it even more of a bonus dress, fits me very well. I will not need to wear a bra .I bought the the size 2.
