FAQs and Return Policy

1. What is your return policy for purchases made on Mestizanewyork.com?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned within 14 days of the order ship date (the day on which the shipping notice is emailed to you). The MESTIZA NEW YORK warehouse must receive returns within 14 days of shipping. Customers who return their items after 14 days will receive a refund in the form of store credit at the present retail value of the product. Since MESTIZA NEW YORK is a small company with one-of-a-kind pieces, we ask that our customers adhere to this policy so we can sell to others who are interested in your item!

All items marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged.
All refunds will be credited for the original amount paid, less shipping fees. Unfortunately, MESTIZA cannot cover the cost of returns. The returned item must be in its original condition: it must be unworn and it cannot be damaged or altered in any way. Original tags must be attached. IT MUST ARRIVE WITH THE ORDER RECEIPT AND IN THE ORIGINAL POLY BAG PROVIDED IN THE SHIPMENT. If you are missing any of these items, please email us.

MESTIZA NEW YORK is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.
If items are returned to the corporate office instead of the warehouse, customer will incur a $20 restocking fee. If your purchase was made from a location other than Mestizanewyork.com, you will need to return your item to the point of purchase as it is covered under their policy. Please allow ~2 weeks to see a refund to your account.

2. What is the exchange policy?
MESTIZA NEW YORK does not have a formal exchange process. If you would like to exchange a product, please adhere to the standard MESTIZA return guidelines and then kindly place an order for your preferred product. Unfortunately, MESTIZA cannot cover the cost of returns. All items marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged.

3. If I purchased an item at a MESTIZA-sponsored Trunk Show, what is your return policy?
Since trunk show items are made to order, we cannot accept returns. However, if an item is defective, please email info@mestiza-ny.com and we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis and find a solution for you.
 
4. Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes, we ship to the Philippines, France, Australia, India, Ireland, Kuwait, Panama, Spain and the UK. If your country is not listed, please email info@mestiza-ny.com, and we can try to accommodate you.
 
5. How do you ship and when will my order arrive?
Items purchased Monday-Friday before 2pm ET will be shipped the same day. We ship using Priority Mail via USPS out of New York. Once an order is shipped, it should take 1-3 business days depending on your location. MESTIZA NEW YORK is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.

Where is your product made?
MESTIZA NEW YORK proudly manufactures in New York City's historical garment district.

7. Do you offer customization/bespoke services?
If you're looking for something unique or want one of our silhouettes in a different fabric, we can do it for you! Customization services are wonderful for brides, bridesmaids, or for those who just want something special. To learn more about the process or to set up a consultation, please email us and we'll get back to you asap!

*Because bespoke items are made especially for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
