The MNY Spotlight

A Note on International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is always a meaningful moment for us to pause and reflect on what it means to build a female-founded business. When we started Mestiza, the vision was always about more than creating beautiful pieces. It was about building something that celebrates women, their creativity, their confidence, and the communities they build around them.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the opportunity to connect with and support other women along the way. We firmly believe that when women share knowledge, open doors for one another, and celebrate each other’s successes, incredible things can happen.

This year, we’ve continued that spirit through our virtual panel series. These conversations bring together inspiring women founders to share their experiences, insights, and lessons learned. Our hope is that these panels create a space for community, encouragement, and meaningful dialogue for everyone who joins us. Just as importantly, they give us the chance to spotlight and support other women-founded businesses whose work continues to inspire us.

In that spirit, we’re especially excited about our upcoming virtual panel, “Everything But The Aisle — Bridal Edition.” This conversation will focus on the moments leading up to the big day, from curating your looks and selecting stationery to the art of planning a celebration that feels personal, polished, and beautifully cohesive from start to finish.

We’re honored to be joined by an incredible group of women whose work has shaped the wedding industry: Cheree Berry, Founder and Creative Director of Cheree Berry Paper & Design; Neillie Butler, Founder and Owner of Mariée Ami, a globally recognized luxury wedding planning firm; and Julie Sabatino, Founder of TSB Styling and widely recognized as the world’s first and most influential bridal stylist. Today, her company has grown into a full-service styling firm defined by its white-glove approach and unparalleled expertise.

If you’d like to join us for this conversation, we would love to have you. You can reserve your spot for the virtual panel here: https://form.typeform.com/to/c0iKEkrp

On International Women’s Day, we’re reminded how powerful it is when women come together to share ideas, lift each other up, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting women-founded businesses like ours.
