Tell us a bit about yourself!
Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in fashion merchandising. My senior year I launched a lifestyle blog that ultimately became a digital resource for Southern women. After years of simply sharing my experiences, I hired a team and focused on creating content for local and national brands. We produce stunning imagery for them to utilize across digital platforms. These days, I split time between the coast and the capital of South Carolina with my husband, toddler son, and stepchildren.

You live in South Carolina with your husband and son, and live a glamorous life that you share with your followers! With the holiday season coming up, what traditions are you creating with your family?
Each year we:
We kick off the holiday season with a cozy night in and homemade soup
We wear matching pajamas and decorate gingerbread houses.
We take an annual trip to New York City to soak in the magic
We capture the years through our annual family photo for the holiday card
I gift each of the boys a photo album of images I’ve take on my phone of them throughout the year
Your style is feminine, polished, and colorful! What do you look for when adding pieces to your wardrobe?
My goal is always to be efficient in everything I do. So when determining if I’m going to make a purchase my first thought is usually, “how many different looks can I create with this?”, so I typically gravitate towards classic, feminine styles. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love the thrill of finding a unique or vintage piece that adds a touch of drama and makes a statement.
How do you incorporate fun, feminine pieces into your daily looks during the fall/winter months? Which current Mestiza pieces would you reach for this season?
I love mixing textures and patterns! I’m not afraid to over-accessorize, and I always opt for color, even when the weather turns gloomy and black seems like the go-to choice. And I never underestimate the statement outerwear can make so I try to invest in at least one new piece each season.
Some of my favorite Mestiza pieces are:
Which trends are you loving right now? And which ones could you do without?
This season, bows are everywhere again.. and I LOVE IT because it is the ultimate symbol of femininity. Hemlines are trendy too and I’m just happy that the midi and maxi length are still popular. Those dresses and skirts always make me feel like a princess.
Pro tip, Mestiza is launching our first bridal collection in the Spring of 2025! What tips do you have for brides who are shopping for all their looks leading up to the big day?
Start by creating a Pinterest board to identify your style preferences. Look for recurring themes and similarities in the outfits you're drawn to. When building your wedding wardrobe for events across months, avoid buying multiples of the same style. Instead, rotate different silhouettes like pants, jumpsuits, and skirts instead of only dresses. Also don't be afraid to experiment with textures.

What are your best tips for living stylishly inside and out?
Establishing a consistent daily routine can be a lifeline during overwhelming times. Prioritize physical well-being by scheduling regular exercise, and nurture your connections by hosting gatherings to celebrate life's special moments and simply enjoy the company of friends. These practices can provide a much-needed sense of balance and joy, helping you navigate through challenging periods.
You’ve worn Mestiza dresses for years! What do you love most about the Mestiza brand?
I love how the Mestiza brand embodies timeless elegance, seamlessly blending versatility and heritage-inspired designs. Your convertible tiered dress is iconic and I think should be a staple amongst wedding guest dresses. I also love that the quality of these pieces ensures they can be passed down to the next generation.
