I am Natalie Buck I’m recently engaged, a dog mom, and living in NYC! We met about 15 years ago in Mexico, our families vacation at the same spot and we continued to keep in touch through ought the years and into adulthood, which is when our bond really strengthened.
During 2020 along with the rest of the world we felt like our life was in shambles & we were both mentally in a really low place. Natalie had the idea of a podcast and we figured we could start something where we can laugh and forget about everything going on in the world for an hour a week and try to bring joy to not only each other, but others listening.
We are very obsessed with all things ‘It Ends With Us’ we both read the book and are completely consumed by it all.

We both offer such a different perspective. I have had 2 kids since the show started and taken our listeners on that entire journey, and now Natalie is planning a wedding. Natalie will be the first to come on every week and talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I think they appreciate our authenticity but also our ability to turn anything into a joke or laugh. Natalie is much more unfiltered and I can sometimes be little more private but they love the juxtaposition and are the most respectful listeners we could ask for. They love every part of us.

We often end our show by saying “hug someone you love” and its so true, we’re both very big on family and how its shaped who we are, so ultimately we just hope that when people listen they get a good laugh, but also maybe they heard something they needed to hear. It can often feel so validating to listeners when one of us will talk about an experience we’ve had. You’re not alone and we hope people feel that when listening.
We love staple pieces and dressing around them. It’s important to splurge on items you love, but also remembering trends come and go. Never get carried away with a trend you will regret it in a year.

As I have been gathering my looks for my wedding, I realize that I’m mostly just drawn to the simple, timeless looks, both in my every day style and wedding style. Because I know myself and know that I constantly change my mind, I have been picking dresses/ looks that I know will always be in style. Sometimes the simpler the better. At least for me.
I’ve tried to give her all the advice but ultimately she’s going to bride the way she wants. I told her to try to remember nobody will remember or care about the details she does, but its hard I was very meticulous about things that I’m certain nobody now remembers but it was special to me. I can’t wait for her wedding! I could see myself in the Lorena or Citrine for her wedding both are classic but I love the idea of a bold color.

The colors, the patterns, the shapes its all visually so appealing and warm. It makes us want to smile when we look at pieces, which is important when getting dressed. You want to feel happy.
